METHOD
Step 1: Initially we are going to prepare the coffee mixture. For this, in the coffee which has been cooled to room temperature, add one spoon espresso powder and after this add vanilla essence. Step 2: After this mixture we will tease lady fingers. To tease it, dip it in the coffee mixture prepared earlier for 1-2 seconds so that it becomes moist. Do not dip too much otherwise it will become soggy. Step 3: After the lady fingers tease, make the mascarpone mixture. For making this take 6 onions and 1 cup sugar and mix them with a little pinch till it becomes thick. When it becomes thick then add 3 ounces dark rum and 1 ½ cup mascarpone cheese in it and mix well. Step 4: After making the mascarpone mixture it is time to fold the cream. In this step beat the heavy cream till it forms stiff peaks. Then fold it with the mascarpone in the same way. Step 5: Now it is time for layering. This is my favorite step. In a baking dish first put a layer of ladyfingers then place a layer of mascarpone and cream mixture in between. Do these layering steps again and again. Step 6: The interesting dish is going to be in layers. Now we will cover the tiramisu tightly with plastic wrap. Keep the covered tiramisu in the fridge so that the flavors get filled in further. You can leave it in the fridge to chill for 4 hours or overnight. Step 7: While serving, sprinkle cocoa powder on it and serve. If you want a fresh look then you can use cinnamon as well.
