Mozzarella Fritta: How To Make Italian Fried Mozzarella Cheese

It is a very tasty and crispy dish that you can eat with your hands instead of spoon or fork. It is similar to a dish called Mozzarella in carrozza. The difference is that in Fried Mozzarella dish, only mozzarella is fried that is coated with breadcrumbs and eggs. While the Mozzarella in carrozza dish also uses bread in which mozzarella cheese is wrapped.

In this dish, Mozzarella is coated with eggs and breadcrumbs then deep fried in oil until they become crispy.  The outer layer becomes very crispy and delicious while inside the mozzarella gets warm and gooey, which makes it more addictive.

METHOD

Step 1: Dry up the mozzarella by using a towel. There should be no liquid or moisture.

Step 2: Dip and roll it in flour until fully coated.

Step 3: Beat the eggs and roll flour coated mozzarella in it.

Step 4: Similarly, now coat it with breadcrumbs.

Step 5: Repeat the process from rolling in eggs then again coat it with breadcrumbs.

Step 6: Take a pan with oil, heat it.

Step 7: Now fry this coated mozzarella cheese in hot oil.

Step 8: Fry it until golden brown.

Step 9: It is ready now. Serve it and enjoy.
