Meatballs With Peas in Sauce: Like a Nonna!

In this dish we will make meatballs which are called classic ground meatballs. To make this, I use my mom’s recipe which helps to make it very soft and delicious. After that these meatballs are dipped in a very good savory tomato sauce. In this sauce we will also add sweet peas which makes the taste of this dish even more delicious.

CONTENT OF RECIPE

Parsley For Taste
1 Cup of Stale Bread
1 Egg
Salt
Breadcrumbs 
For The Sauce:
2 Cups of Frozen Peas
1 Onion
2 Cups of Tomato Puree
Extra Virgin Olive Oil

METHOD

Step 1: Take a pot and soak the stale roti with milk and soften it.

Step 2: To make meatballs, first we will put the ground meat in a bowl. Then add soaked bread in it. Now add all the ingredients and mix them like eggs, cheese, finely chopped parsley. 

Step 3: Finally add salt as needed.

Step 4: Mix this mixture well and make a ball with your hands. Sprinkle lightly with bread crumbs.

Step 5: Take a large frying pan. Add a few tablespoons of avo oil to it. Then add finely chopped onion to it.

Step 6: Now we will also add meatballs to it. It will continue to cook until it turns brown. 

Step 7: Add the frozen peas and let it cook for a few minutes until the peas become soft.

Step 8: At the same time, we will add tomato puree and half a cup of water in the pan. Then add salt to taste. Cover the meatballs with peas and let it cook for 30-35 minutes on low flame.

Step 9: Serve their delicious sauce with slices of bread so that you can soak up and enjoy this delicious sauce.
