My Mother’s Most Loved Cake: You Will Make it Every Week

This is my most favorite dessert ever. When my family and friends come to my home, I’ll make this great treat for them and they really liked it. Its taste will bring you to another world. Be sure to let me know how much you like this recipe after you try it.

Six Tablespoons of Sugar
1/3 Cup of Cream Cheese or Mascarpone
One Lemon
For The Dough:
One Egg
1/2 Cup Sugar
One Tablespoon Sugar
Lemon Zest
2 2/3 Cups of All-Purpose Flour
1 1/2 Teaspoons of Baking Powder
2/3 Cup of Butter
1 Tablespoon Butter

METHOD

Step 1: Boil the milk in a pan.

Step 2: Mix the sugar and eggs together well until they become smooth and fluffy.

Step 3: Add Cornstarch in it.

Step 4: When the milk starts boiling, slowly add the egg mixture to it and keep stirring until the milk becomes thick.

Step 5: Now remove it from the stove and add mascarpone cheese along with lemon zest.

Step 6: After that, give them a good shake and your cream should be smooth and creamy.

Step 7: Keep it aside and let it cool.

Step 8: In a bowl whisk the eggs thoroughly then add sugar in it and beat it well until smooth.

Step 9: Then add lemon zest to it.

Step 10: Add dry ingredients like flour and baking powder. Add melted butter to it and make soft and smooth dough.

Step 11: Now put butter and flour in a mold and roll the dough in it.

Step 12: Add the prepared cream on top of the dough and spread it evenly.

Step 13: Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees F for 35 minutes until the cake is golden brown.

Step 14: When the cake is ready, let it cool and sprinkle powdered sugar on top and serve it.
