Ricotta Cheesecake and Figs Jam

This cheesecake has both ricotta and cream cheese richness. Top of a buttery cracker crust, this creamy cheesecake has a delicious lemon zest flavor. To enhance the deliciousness of this cake, a layer of fig jam is also applied to it, which gives it a natural sweetness and enhances its taste.

METHOD

CRUST PREPARATION

Step 1: To make the crust we will crush the graham crackers through any food processor.

Step 2: Add the melted butter to the crushed crackers and mix it well.

Step 3: Now line the baking paper on the bottom of the pan.

Step 4: Spread the graham crackers crumbs mixture and smooth it well with the help of a spoon.

Step 5: Now we will refrigerate it for 30 minutes.

FILING PREPARATION

Step 6: In a bowl, combine the cream cheese and ricotta.

Step 7: And mix them well till they become smooth.

Step 8: Now add sugar to this creamy mixture and mix it.

Step 9: Now add the eggs one by one.

Step 10: Combine the remaining ingredients like flour, lemon zest and vanilla extract to this mixture.

CHEESECAKE PREPARATION

Step 11: Spread this filling over the crust that we have already made.

Step 12: Top of the cheesecake should smooth out nicely.

Step 13: Bake it in a preheated oven at 160 degrees Celsius for 50 to 60 minutes.

Step 14: When the cake is ready, let it stand for an hour with the oven door slightly opened.

Step 15: Carefully remove the cake and let it cool to room temperature.

Step 16: Now after making the cheesecake, refrigerate it for four hours.

SERVING

Step 17: Pour the fig jam on the cheesecake before serving.

Step 18: Remove the cheesecake from the pan and place on a serving plate, slice it and serve.
