METHOD
Step 1: To make a soft cake with lemon cream, first separate the egg whites and yolks. Step 2: Add a pinch of salt to the egg white and keep it aside. Step 3: Now beat the egg yolks with the sugar for at least 15 minutes, until they become light and fluffy. Gradually add flour and baking powder to this mixture and continue to mix with an electric beater. Step 4: Add a tablespoon of warm water to soften the dough. Step 5: Finally add the egg white to this mixture slowly. Step 6: Pour the mixture into a greased pan and bake in a preheated oven at 330°F for 35 to 40 minutes. Step 8: Whisk the sugar and eggs until they turn fluffy.. Step 9: Add cornstarch, limoncello, grated rind and water. Step 10: Put this mixture in a saucepan and cook on low flame until it becomes creamy. Step 11: Cut the cake into two halves. Moisten each portion with limoncello cream, and then place them on top of each other and refrigerate.
