Veal Meatballs: My Mom’s Amazing Recipe

This is a classic and popular dish in which veal meatballs are cooked with a sauce. They are especially loved by small children. The way to prepare them is different in everyone’s home. In this, the meatballs are first browned and then cooked in the sauce so that it becomes soft and does not fall apart. This is my mother’s unique recipe and I really enjoy this.

CONTENT OF RECIPE

1 Egg
Chopped Parsley To Taste
1 Clove Of Garlic
1 Ounce Of Breadcrumbs (Or Stale Bread)
1/4 Cup Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese
Salt and Pepper To Taste
Extra Virgin Olive Oil To Taste
For The Sauce:
2 Cups Tomato Puree
1/4 Cup Water
1 Teaspoon Of Salt

METHOD

Step 1: First, cut the bread into small pieces and grind them in a blender. 

Step 2: Then put the meat in the bowl which will be ground. Salt, black pepper, finely chopped garlic and parsley will be added to it. 

Step 3: After that add chopped cheese and breadcrumbs. 

Step 4: Add the egg to it and then use your hands to mix it. 

Step 5: Mix well with your hands. Then adjust salt and black pepper. It’s done when it turns smooth.

Step 6: After making the meatballs, roll the dough into 1-0.070 inch balls. 

Step 7: This recipe will make you about 25 meatballs. Then you have to heat oil in a non-stick pan. 

Step 8: Fry the meatballs well in oil for one to two minutes on both sides. 

Step 9: After that, add tomato pulp, black pepper and salt and cook on low heat for 15 to 20 minutes. 

Step 10: When ready, sprinkle dry oregano if you like and serve with hot sauce.

Do Plastic wrap and refrigerate it for 2-3 days. You can freeze them, cooked or uncooked. But the ingredients should be fresh.

TIP

Fry the meatballs well for more flavor and serve dipped in the separately made sauce.
